Another pleasant stay in a Hilton listed hotel.

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 31 Aug 2024
We enjoyed the many nights spent in this hotel. Though there were a couple things of concern, they were addressed promptly.
The many breakfast options were fresh & delicious Marcio Oliveira, the attendant, was very helpful, polite and vigilant in keeping it area clean, tidy & full. Thank you.

Room Tip: Enjoy the "work-out" room with it's high quality machines, etc. There is a nearby rail system but...

Since I am a Hilton Honors member, I was greeted with a snack bag of bottled water and Tasty Cakes. I had booked the wrong date and it was a non refundable rate. However, they were able to change my date and move my initial deposit to my current reservation.

Hotel is very convenient- right off the Willow Grove exit of the PA turnpike. Despite closeness to Easton Road, hotel was quiet. Loved the free parking. Very close to shopping and restaurants. No pool but I didn’t have time. Did have exercise equipment but I didn’t use it.

I had a king bed room. It may have been accessible because there was a lot of room around the bed and in front of tv. There was also a sofa bed with table. Bed was very comfortable. Had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. If I had a doggie bag from a dinner out, I could bring the food home and reheat. Had a desk and chair so you do do work. (Not in pictures) Plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports on night stands and tv desk. Had luggage table and 3 drawers for storage. I don’t recall a closet with hangers - but it is summer and I didn’t have a clothes to hang up. There is a hook in the bathroom. My bathroom had a big shower, one sink. Had a variety of toiletries- face soap and in bottles hanging in bottles from the wall was hand soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The shower was in the footprint of a tub so it was a nice size. Also had a short shelf that you can sit on if you need it.
Had a nice breakfast from 6 am to 10 am. With scrabbled eggs, pre made omelets, sausage (but not bacon) French toast, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, bread and bagels- something for most everyone. There is a small convenience section by from desk if you wanted TV dinners, snacks and beverages. For other meals, you would have to drive a short distance but there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and other stores. On the first floor there seemed to be several rooms with doorbells so I would assume those rooms were heating/visually accessible rooms The hotel seemed family friendly- there were a lot of families and couples.
I’d come here again for a short stay.

Room tip: Bring your luggage through the front door where there are carts. There is a side door that doesn’t have a ramp to drag you rolled luggage.

Terrible experience. I saw two mice crawl across my room floor and the front desk attendant said the hotel is aware of the mice problem and has known for at least 3 months. The front desk staff claims they live in the AC units. Absolutely disgusting.

Upon check in we had to fill out some crazy form with our ID numbers from DL needing for all guest. The shower in the room is set up funny. The glass door is in the back so you have to climb in the shower to turn it on and get wet either unclothed or clothed with ice cold water. Whom ever thought of that was obviously not thinking logically. The breakfast was empty when we came down and there wasn’t anyone checking to see if anything needed refilling, so we just had to eat what was picked over. It’s in a convenient area and seemed to be maintained well.

Hotel was clean & updated. There was also a free breakfast with hot items. Close to plenty of restaurants & the turnpike. We were in town for a college visit & it worked out perfectly. Saw quite a few business travelers while we were there, as well. Good value.

This is the second time I stayed here while on business in the area, the price is affordable, the room clean, the staff friendly. A decent mid range hotel.
Will be returning, as I plan in being in the region over the next few weeks
