The food was good and the rooms were nice and clean. wish I would’ve known that the second room we got that was cheaper and so much nicer existed in the first place.
The Consear’s were very nice and accommodating. loved having the shuttle for the casino we also got their sweatshirts they’re very comfy. If you want to use there spa make appointments before going to the hotel cause they never have openings I got my hair cut cause my husband was asleep and they could not do anything else cause the masseuse and nail tech already gone for the day or were booked but I loved how my hair came out so that’s a plus but there’s always sapphire in Mohegan sun

Will never stay here again....unless you are an all night party-hound. Friday and Saturday nights are a free-for-all with people screaming up and down the hallways, slamming doors until 5am! Security non-existant. If you are looking for any kind of rest stay away from here! The rooms are pretty sparse and crowded. Skimpy bath towels and no place to put any of your toiletries in the bathroom. Pillows are lumpy, bed was comfortable.

Room tip: Find a different hotel!

I arranged a group of 25 for a weekend fraternity reunion at The Woodlands and they could not have done a better job! Their staff worked with me to put together a terrific package for all attendees and nobody in my "tough crowd" had anything but the highest praise for the property. Food quality was far better than what one would expect and the accommodations met with everybody's approval.
Kudos to Diane Fitzgibbon for handling our arrangements!
Only one thing needs improvement: The quality of wines by the glass at the various bars onsite was significantly lacking (in most cases, only Marcus James wines were available). This should be upgraded significantly!!!!

Apart from that, the weekend was without a flaw!

Room tip: Streamside rooms are a worthwhile upgrade

Our stay was fine until.... we got home and a few weeks later realized we had BED BUGS!!! The exterminator asked when we had stayed else where and he said we had to of gotten them during the time we stayed at Woodlands Inn. I'm so disgusted! Not only did I pay over $300 to spend the weekend at this hotel but also another $600 to get rid of the bed bugs! My advice is DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU WILL GET BED BUGS!!!! Bed bugs that bite the crap out of you!

Room tip: Got bed bugs from this place

Dear Guest,

Thank you for attempting to put us out of business. We're very sorry you have bed bugs. You contacted us one month after checking out of our hotel to complain of bed bugs, The room was then thoroughly checked for any/all evidence of bugs. Nothing found (droppings, eggs, blood etc.). Since your departure the room has been rented on numerous occasions without incident. I am not disputing you have bugs, however, no evidence that it started with us.

Thank you,
Ross Kornfeld

This resort is a great place for a couple of days of relaxation. We had a streamside room, and it was so relaxing to hear the water go by, and we enjoyed the privacy it afforded. The place does not look like much from the outside, but the inside is modern, clean and self-contained, although it did seem like a maze at first. We enjoyed drinks on the deck, and the breakfast buffet, and took advantage of the free shuttle to the casino. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice large shower. We also took a dip in the comfortably warm indoor pool. Staff was also very nice.

The only thing that keeps this place from five stars is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms - we could hear people talking in the room next door - which distracted from the ambiance.

Room tip: Streamside is best. You don't want to stay on the main hallway near the club and the banquet rooms on a weekend.
