We stayed at this location the beginning of August. We are a family of five with 3 children under the age of 16. Up until this summer we spent the last 3 summers at the new Camelback Lodge. The lodge has gotten quite expensive for very little space. We found this house on trip advisor and it worked out fantastic. It's very roomy and the kids all enjoyed having their own space. It is very clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet. It is right next to Camelback so you are still close to the waterpark and ski area. We did a lot of day trips so this place worked out well. Has a nice sized kitchen so we ate breakfast in everyday which is definitely a convienance. We will definitely rent this unit again.
We had one of the best times at this condo as it was very well kept, neat and clean. All you have to do is just pack your bags and just show up. It literally had everything we needed and wanted. From kitchen utensils to laundry detergents to coffee makers which is a big help if you are vacationing with kids. It is located within 2 to 3 miles of all the attractions at the camelbeach. We did the BBQ the next day in the deck in back which was really fun too. The deck is kind of small but is enough for 7 to 8 people. The only back drop is that they don't provide any towels (you need to bring your own) which kind of sucked since we only brought one pair and had to keep washing them everyday. But other than that there were no complains as the place was beautiful and the owner (Mary) is very kind and responds to any concerns within minutes.
Overall i would definitely recommend this property for family vacations.
I cannot express enough how thrilled we were with this rental! In the past, we have been a little mislead even with really looking into places. This time our whole experience what a true pleasure! The owner was such a joy to work with and so accommodating . We stayed from 12/28/13 -1/1/14. Let me just say , when we opened the door, it was like walking into your own home. The decor and furniture is warm and inviting ( just the same as the pics). It's not the extra furniture you had in your basement , lol. I really liked the fact that it's a corner unit, no one to the right of you, and it has two sliders allowing so much light in. We actually BBQ some hamburgers pre - New Year's Eve. First day of skiing we skied right off the mountain, down to the lodge. That was great. Didn't have to deal with the parking lot. Someone stayed behind in the unit, so they picked us up later. It rained that afternoon, so what did some of us do---???? ---- the outlets. That's the beauty of the closeness to The Crossings( name of outlets). The other half stayed behind with iPads etc.. Wi fi was a great thing to have. And let me add, that each TV is flat screen , none of the big box kind. We went to happy hour at the brewery at the bottom of the mountain . Nice place. We will more then likely become returnees to this unit. Price was so great , more then fair, and they let us check out late with no extra cost because no one was coming until end of week. That helped since we were moving in slow motion on New Year's Day!
