The staff and Mrs. Dienner keep this place moving with very authentic home cooking. The home made bread to mashed and brown butter noodles are not to be missed. The Beef tip Gravy as my husband states is so good you will go back for seconds. The home cooked/roasted chicken was finger licking good. The ham was delicious and not salty. Veggies, salad bar and home made cakes, pies, custard are memorable. Vanilla ice cream only. Very clean and worth the wait time.

We finally had the chance to check out Dienner's Country Restaurant one early Monday morning for the breakfast buffet. This quaint little restaurant sits on the main highway that cuts through the many towns in Lancaster County, next to Dutch Haven.

Our server, Sadie, was extremely pleasant and efficient, as were all the staff we've encountered. The simple buffet offered your favorite breakfast foods: fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, scrapple, different gravies, biscuits, even baked oatmeal, grits and more. On the dessert side were (delicious) mini donut holes (I have such a sweet tooth), sticky buns, and other tasty pastries. All in all, the best thing about Amish food in general is the freshness and non-seasoned taste - nothing is overflavored.

Many of the wonderful people we have spoken to in the area have recommended this place and now I can too. It's definitely a place to try - and you can't beat the price of $7.75 for the buffet.

This is smaller restaurant packed with loyal customers. An excellent buffet with all the local Amish and Mennonite dishes. We have never been disappointed!

Let's be honest, some of the buffets in Lancaster remind me of cows going to a trough! So many people, so much food. Well, Dieners is different! It has a homey feel and honest to goodness always fresh, good home cooked food. We only ever eat here. Mrs. Diener herself is often present. Most often you have to wait at least fifteen minutes at the least. However, you are given a pager and can visit the awesome store adjoining it. We've been there for lunch and supper: both are great, both are yummy. I encourage all my friends who visit in Lancaster to give it a try. Long live Dieners!

You get what you pay for...definitely quality over quantity! Not many choices but the food is excellent! Friendly staff and an older but still clean restaurant.
