POOR SERVICE - DIRTY AND NOT HELPFUL

Stay far away from this hotel; poor service, dirty rooms, and impossible to get in touch with. I am very disappointed in everything that has to do with this hotel and their company. Stay anywhere else but here. It took me over a week and 20 phone calls to get help. They still billed me twice.

It is truly disheartening to hear about your experience with service and room cleanliness, as well as the difficulties you faced trying to get in touch with us. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. The frustration of being double billed and having to make numerous phone calls is unacceptable. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

I stayed at this Hotel in 2023 and It was Overpriced and Gross and the Hotel costed too much money, I was disappointed with the breakfast because I couldn’t get a refill on Orange Juice and was disappointed with the Parking I wouldn’t stay here again

went here for mine and my girlfriends one year anniversary and it was EXCELLENT the front desk manager .. I believe Jim was his name was fantastic!! we were upgraded to a deluxe sweet because it was our anniversary and the hotel was super clean ! Every employee I met was super nice and personable!! The room was excellent Very Clean and tidy and as soon as we were settled the front desk called and asked how our accommodations were ! I felt very important to the staff and I will without a doubt be returning !!! May even make this a yearly trip. great food close by the porch was closed when we were there but it looked beautiful the pool area was super clean and tidy! and the hot tub was wonderful! Id give 10 stars if I could !!

It’s fantastic to hear that your anniversary celebration was made so special at Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh-Downtown! The thoughtful upgrade to a deluxe suite and Jim’s excellent service clearly made a memorable impact, making you feel truly valued. It's lovely that the room was impeccably clean and tidy, and the proactive check-in from the front desk reflects the team's dedication to ensuring your comfort. While it’s unfortunate the porch was closed, it’s wonderful that the clean pool area and relaxing hot tub added to the enjoyment. The team will be delighted to hear you plan to make this a yearly tradition, and can't wait to welcome you back!

Would not recommend staying here. The room was heavily overpriced for what it was: lights didn't work on the "bedroom" side of the suite (neither ceiling light nor table lamps); the bed was squeaking from the slightest movement; the air conditioner was right next to the bed, very loud and kept making clicking sounds all night; absolutely no sound proofing so I could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the rooms next to me (someone kept partying and screaming until 4AM); and it was dirty (stains in drawers, hairs in the shower, bathroom smelled like urine...).

Breakfast wasn't included in the price, and no one told me anything about when and where it was going to be. They also have a very poor selection of food items in the lobby and none in the room fridge.

Checking in, the staff was being quite indifferent and seemed bothered by me being there. Check-out was nicer but it didn't really matter anymore at that point.

I would not stay here again, and wouldn't encourage anyone to spend money here, unless there were no other options.

Room tip: Google Maps initially directed me onto the backside of the hotel (next to the stadium entrance) but you can't get through to the entrance of the hotel from the back.

Staff was ok for the most part. Hotel is very dated. We moved the foot ottoman and found a big patch of mold from old food that must have been there forever. Found several hairs in the shower and in the not so clean sheets. Room itself was a nice size for a king suite. No continental breakfast. They had a sign $14 for the buffet, but no buffet. Had the bar set up like they were serving breakfast, but no one ever showed up to take our orders, so I assumed they weren’t offering breakfast at all. Only 2 towels in the room, but they did bring us more. Overall..would be an ok hotel to stay at if you’re going to a hockey game, but other than that, better choices for the same price.

Jasonmarine, it is regrettable to hear about the disappointments you faced during your stay. We were checked in by friendly person (Max), but the room was absolutely unacceptable. The carpet was unbelievably dirty. This friendly person got us a different room which was better, but still not what we expected. As others have mentioned the carpet was dirty in room 615, but not as dirty as room 515. This place needs some maintenance for sure. It’s super close to the PPG stadium, and maybe guests party here too much?!

Room tip: Look elsewhere…needs improvement, new carpeting and better cleaning.
