I booked my Room January 25, 2022. The wedding was Saturday September 24, 2022
2 nights before we all left, The Hilton Bumped 3 of my friends to another hotel, they also booked their rooms January 25, 2022, The Mother of the groom was already there and she spoke to the sales Manager and got their rooms back. I wasn't affected at that time. When I went to register at the desk, the manager was overwhelmed. The line was out the door for checking in. you see they overbooked the Hotel. they had Nine weddings and Parents Weekend for Villanova. When I finally got to the desk, I was told that I could have a room with a king size bed. I of course was grateful for a room and said yes. The manager said the room wasn't cleaned yet but she would leave the keys for me at the desk. I had to put my bags in my friends room to get dressed. because of the wait time I had only 15 Minutes to get ready and run down to the shuttle. We all went to the wedding and got back at 11:00. My friends and I went right to the front desk to pick up my keys. Their manager that I was dealing with in the afternoon saw me and ran out. I ask the gentleman at the desk for my keys and he informed me that I would have to get a shuttle and go to a hotel 1/2 hour away because they gave my room to someone else. I looked at him with disbelief. I said to him, I am a single women who you want to go on a shuttle for 1/2 hour to a hotel that I know nothing about and then would have to figure out how to get back. I reserved this room in January 2022, but I am the one who gets bumped? All of my friends are here, my ride to get back to Long Island is here. I was told I had a room and my keys would be at the desk. Remember I said the Manager saw me when I came in for the keys and fled, well I think she knew all along I was bumped to another hotel and didn't tell me. I writing this to let everyone know how not to go to this Hilton Hotel. I am giving it 1 star. There management is awful. The double booked this hotel and there policy is to ship you out to other hotels. I am a Hilton Honors member and look what they did to me!
