Attended a family wedding here. Everything was on-site. Stayed here, wedding ceremony here, cocktails here, reception here, brunch here. It was nice to be at an all-in-one location.
This review speaks specifically about our stay as hotel guests (the bride and groom can talk about the event planning, etc.)
We had a very comfortable stay with no problems at all. Some highlights included a spacious, clean, comfortable king room that was quiet. The bed and pillows were comfy. One nice highlight is that the TV had an HDMI port on the back, so we could plug in our Roku stick and watch our own shows (I am sure that chrome and fire sticks would work equally well.) The wireless bars were low and the Roku rated the wifi connection speed as moderate, but it didn't seem to effect the streaming quality in any way that we could see. The bathroom is small - as it is in most hotels of this era - but it was well appointed, with loads of towels, and some nice Crabtree & Evelyn products.
Other nice things: the close and easy free parking, friendly and helpful front desk staff, lots of lobby space for friends and family to gather, and the terrific Doubletree cookies (ask for 2)
Pro tip: If you are on the Hilton Honors app and you can check in early, use the pick your room option and try to select one with a lower number (any floor, but get a room under -23 or so, so you are nearer to the elevator) One of our family members was in a -47 room and it was a long, long lonnnng hike from the elevator.
