Loved our stay here and the rather lovely touch of walking into the loft room with the rose and chocolate on the pillow. Great restaurant too and staff all very helpful. Décor and history of the hotel all very interesting.

My husband and I booked a block of rooms at Lancaster Arts Hotel for our wedding guests the weekend of 10/14 - 10/15 and wow were we happy! The staff was very helpful and friendly, streamlining the check-in and out process for our guests. And all of our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful and interesting the historic hotel was! Several of our guests were talking about coming back to this hotel for a weekend getaway in the future. We could not be more pleased with this hotel and it's unique, architectural features. They helped make our big day perfect!

Room tip: Suite rooms are the perfect size for getting the bridal party ready the day of

I rarely leave reviews on hotels, but just had to rave about our stay in Lancaster. This hotel, while very reasonable, has amenities and extras that one associates with much higher-priced hotels. The service is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and appealing. The room furnishings, bed, bathroom, and appointments are comfortable and convenient. We loved the original decor of this former tobacco warehouse, which incorporates its industrial history of brick, stone, wide-board flooring, and exposed wood beams ten-inches square, like you have never seen before! Yet everything one wants to be modern and convenient certainly is. Art flourishes on the walls, and guests are invited to sketch and leave a drawing for their albums of amateur art. We took advantage of the free guest pass to the YMCA across the street to workout, and were very pleased with the facilities there. If I am ever back in Lancaster, I know where I will stay!

We'd had a fairly traumatic drive to Lancaster so needed a great hotel room to relax and get over it! And boy, did we find it. We were allocated one of the loft rooms of this converted tobacco factory, which came with two sofas, swivel TV, kitchen area, delightful bathroom...almost a condo in fact. It was frustrating that our itinerary only had us there was one night. Only negative was a pretty mean breakfast bar, though it was included in the price.

Room tip: Check out the loft rooms - you'll not be disappointed

First off this is very well adorned hotel next to Franklin & Marshall college, sorta in the city of Lancaster. The rooms are nicely appointed, the staff, ever so kind, and the ambiance, ever so cozy. I spent a week here, no wifi, no wifi at all, the rooms are noisy with the adjacent noise and the trample of the floors above. The elevator is SO slow that you will pull your hair out waiting for it, and if you happen to have a room on the back side, expect to hear bottles into the receptacle outside throughout the night, which gets emptied by the refuse truck 0530 Wednesday mornings. No need to set an alarm this day. The bar is awesome, let me rephrase that, the bartenders are awesome. Hopefully they do get the bar top refinished because it is so tacky, as in sticky. The restaurant below offers some of the best food you will ever eat but do make reservations. There is outside dining, weather permitting, and a lot of pretentious folks trying to out class the others. All in all not bad but if a boutique hotel is your aim, then this is your place.

Dear alberttc2017,

Thank you for your review. I am concerned as to why you would tolerate 'no wifi'. This should not be the case ever. We have access points through out the hotel and can not fix or correct what is not known to us. The refuse truck is a city thing, unfortunately something out of our control. It does take some getting used to. I can tell you the bar is scheduled for refinishing. Although we are totally separate business we do keep one another in the loop.
The bit about the 'pretentious folks trying to out class the other'.... Holy Moly that was a big OUCH.

Thank you,
