We were passing through and used our frequent-roomer points for this hotel, so the price was excellent. It's no surprise that there were no Amish running the cash registers, but the staff were nearly as friendly. It was raining heavily in the area, so we enjoyed turning in early and watching the oversized TV in the room. We'll have to return to see more of the Amish later.

Before we went to bed we looked over at the nightstand and there were ants crawling all over. We called the front desk and someone came to exterminate and clean up. It happened to be the general manager (Troy Brensinger). He was rude and said “I can’t keep Mother Nature out”. Once we expressed our disappointment and disgust he asked how he could make this up to us and we said that the least he could do is not charge for the night at a rather expensive hotel. His response was “Yes, you’re paying for the night”.
Later on, the nightstand drawer was again full of ants. We had to call for clean up again. This time the manager decided to announce that we would make a 10% discount.
The following morning we found a dead centipede on the bathroom floor. I wonder if we stepped on it overnight!
The hotel is so dirty, that between the mattress and the headboard there was a disgusting pile of hair and dirt.
You can take a look at the pictures of the pile of hair and the dead centipede. I have a video of the crawling ants but could not upload it on this app.
It’s outrageous to charge $159 per night at a place like this.

The Inn was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we went just as the Covid 19 restrictions were just opening up. The Breakfast did not have a very large selection (just bagels, cereal, fruit and some small pastries). We will try it again. The rates and room were very good.

We'd come to this hotel after an issue at another hotel, and were very pleased here. The room was pretty roomy, and the air conditioner kept up with the heat. The desk staff was very friendly with us, and did inform us at check in that the housekeeping staff would not be going to the room during our stay. However, if we needed anything, we could ask. Breakfast was simple, a few more options would have been nice, but I didn't mind.
The location was easy to find, although the Rockvale outlets seem to be more closed than open. Overall, we were happy here, and wouldn't mind returning.

We booked through a third party and when we questioned aspects of the booking the staff yelled at us and said "If you don't like it you can go some place else" The shouting was frightening and this was at 9pm at night. Complaints to the general manager after our stay netted a proforma three sentence reply. It was the closest to elder abuse I hope to come in this life time. In addition they do not make you aware at check in that throughout the Comfort/Choice Hotel system due to Covid 19 (so they said) there is NO housekeeping service. They don't empty the waste baskets or clean the bathroom or bring fresh towels. For the entire weekend only 2 desk staff were present in the motel. They were belligerent and scolded us for using a booking service. My punishment lesson is complete I wont be going near there again.
