A group of fourteen from our church just returned home from a trip to Lancaster. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Not sure how old the property is but it appeared to be very new and up-to-date. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. Beds were great. I loved the amenities in the shower so you didn't have to mess with the little sample bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Great touch!!!
Staff was responsive and helpful. Our first morning there, experienced a glitch with breakfast as person responsible didn't show because of car trouble but other staff jumped in and did their best to make a bad situation better. People need to be more patient and realize things happen and people that are thrown into the lion's den do their best to fix a problem.
We got back to the hotel one night early and didn't want to call it a night so five of us sat in the lobby and played cards and dominoes. Manager on duty fixed us hot water so we could have hot chocolate and tea while we were enjoying ourselves in the lobby.
I'd definitely stay here again if we get to go back to Lancaster.

Room tip: Hotel is close to highway but turn on the fan and it drowns out some of the noise. Would request a room away from the elevator.

The accommodations & Breakfast were nice overall.
Had issues with billing, and two different staffers couldn't seem to get it right.....finally, a day after checking-out and a phone call to them, the matter was resolved.
Also had a issue with the room TV, and had to wait for the next day for it to be resolved...and was told that the front desk staff from the evening before, should have been able to correct the matter.....instead of my going without a TV!

Room tip: Ask for a room far away from the main roadway t...because of lots of truck traffic noise.

My room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had good traction on the floor. The breakfast was nice, but some items needed to be replenished as supplies were very low. The location is great, on route 30, near the Tanger Outlets and across the road from Dutch Wonderland.
I took off one star because I complained about sharp edges on the desk in my room in the morning and when I returned in the evening, nothing had been done.

The hotel was very clean. The decor was not our taste at all, but the cleanliness made it a reason to stay here. I had booked a suite with 2 queen beds. Be forewarned- there is no privacy separation between the "living area" and the sleeping area- no door/divider etc....But the room was VERY clean. However, the breakfast experience was horrible! They only had one person servicing the buffet area and they absolutely need more than one person. The cereal are had cereal all over the counter and no regular milk available- either for the cereal or for plain drinking. Make-you-own-waffle area had only one large waffle maker and one small waffle maker. No syrup available (They were "out" of it).Kids should NOT be allowed to make their own waffles- ( think: kids + batter + hot waffle machine). There was fruit out, but it was not fresh and not plentiful at all. The breakfast area was the dirtiest are of the hotel, so the "bonus" of having free breakfast was quickly lost on us. I would probably stay at this hotel again-despite the lack of separate living/sleeping area (just wouldn't pay for a suite next time) because the hotel are was SO CLEAN. However, I would make other plans for breakfast as there are certainly options available in the area.
