We visited the hotel for the 2nd time in 2 months.Deb the manager on duty took very good care of us.As did the rest of the front desk staff.Very friendly and helpful.Ray the maintenance man also brought us some towels up when we got to our room He also was great on letting us know of places to go in the village. All in all it was a wonderful experience for us.And can't wait to go back and visit with all the wonderful people at the Golden Plough they treated us so nice.

We visited to celebrate our 21st Anniversary. We booked a one bedroom suite. They are not actually separate bedroom and sitting area spaces but rather just a rally large room. We stayed above the Giggleberry. The view was not great as it looked upon the roof of the carousel, but it was also very quiet. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. There is also a Murphy bed. The jacuzzi tub was definitely big enough for two people. I let them know it was an for an Anniversary and they said they would give us a complimentary card and plate of cookies. Other items available for purchase include a bottle of wine or champagne, a fruit tray, and a cheese and cracker tray. I purchased the champagne for, I believe, $25. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for a romantic getaway or a girl’s getaway.

Delightful one night get-away stay. The room was so open and airy, and SOOOOO quiet! Decor was very comforting and the room and bath room were exceptionally clean. Front desk staff is friendly and very efficient. One was in training and worked very diligently so I really had no idea she was in training. Only downside was the restaurant that supposedly serves breakfast closes between 10 and 11. So no breakfast or lunch to be had. But that is not the Golden Plough Inn's problem - and the place we ended up at was such a winner anyway! Enjoy your stay here! We did! PS WIFI works throughout Peddlers Village and we loved that. Yes, we were almost unplugged, but for contacting family members, we were thrilled with the connections we had. Thank you for a wonderful escape night!!!!!

Thank you for telling us about your stay. I will be sure to share your great comments with our Front Desk staff. The Buttonwood Grill closes from 10:00 am until 11:00 am to prepare for lunch. Nancy's Village Cafe is a 1 minute walk right across the street. Nancy's serves breakfast until 11:00 am. We are happy that we could provide you with a great place to get away and relax.
We look forward to your return.

We have been to Peddler's Village many times over the past 38 years and never stayed at the Golden Plough, but the Travel Zoo package was so reasonable we couldn't resist. For $119, we had a beautiful queen suite with fireplace, spa tub, balcony overlooking the property, breakfast each morning at the Buttonwood restaurant and a cheese tasting at Casa Casale. The main Inn is one of the centerpieces of this tranquil village, but there are rooms scattered around the 42 acre setting. There is a nice room to the right of the lobby with a fireplace, the perfect setting to end the evening at last call. Everything was 1st rate and we look forward to a return trip.

This place is a quaint hotel centrally located in Peddler's Village. The room was very large and had a cute little bed/couch with curtains in the corner. Would be perfect if you were traveling with a small child. They would love the cozy nook bed and the window seat. My only complaint was our reservation was for a queen bed and our bed was definitely a full. Other than that, it was perfect. Would love to return when the warm weather hits.

Room Tip: We were above the winery, with very cute and quaint rooms. But you have to climb a bunch of stairs.

Thank you for telling us about your stay. We make a concerted effort to accommodate guests requests concerning bed types, but it can be a challenge on high demand dates. The weather is finally getting warm, so be sure to come back and visit with us soon.
