Higher priced but worth it

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 10 Jul 2021via mobile
This hotel was very clean but with convention crowds can be very noisy. The room we had was a living room divided from sleeping area by a wall with TV on each side and a dresser. Beware if you request a bathroom with shoelwer as the floors are high glossed covered and very slippery. Not a good feature for older people to have to navigate.

Also, the prices are pretty high so look fe e staying weekdays when prices are lower.

I experienced the WORST Customer Service ever in my life!! HORRIBLE. Front desk is incompetent, uppity, useless. Asked for manager due to the fact I dealt with three different people, no one had a clue. All I wanted was a hotel room?? I was told by "supervisor" that the manager was not there, leaves every day at 4:00 PM. And that women was the supervisor. I just got kicked to a global reservation line 3 times, each time wait was over 30 minutes. Called back...no one cared. They just throw you the reservation line in some other country. Called front desk...they do not give a ****. Thumbs down to hotel and it's front desk staff!!

We are Marriott Platinum members and this is not up to par. No housekeeping services for second night stay. The king room was booked for 3 with college student staying on pullout but no linens in room so we had to call and wait for it to come then they didn't even bring a pillow. No housekeeping after day 1 so I had to call and ask for 3 towels and they brought 2. It may seem petty but Marriotts do not tend to operate at this level and honestly I was disappointed. We visit our daughter at college a few times a year and I think we'll head back to the Philadelphia Marriott next time. It was very convenient to highway, Valley Forge and KOP mall but the room experience was subpar however the bed was nice but the ventilation was loud thankfully I wear ear plugs to bed due to snoring spouse!

We stayed at this resort this past weekend as we had a lacrosse tournament nearby. The hotel is new and attractive, but carpet on our floor (5th) and our room were very soiled and dirty. The rest of the resort seemed clean. I'm assuming due to covid they have reduced cleaning staff, but it didn't look good. Staff we encountered were all nice. Also no food but a vending machine on-site. Bar was also not open on a Saturday night.

This hotel seemed like it was going to be a clean, pleasant place to stay but unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel rooms we have stayed in. The shower had mold lining the entire inside and the grout was black, no water pressure in the shower and the sink sounded like pipes were going to break when you turned it on, the circuit covers/plates were loose and hanging from the wall, there was dust in multiple places in the bathroom and around the bed, the bed was made with no fitted sheet but a standard sheet covering the mattress, and the duvet cover was ripped and kept coming apart. The shower did not have a door but a pane of glass covering half the shower so water was spritzing everywhere. The only positive part about this hotel was the front desk staff who were always kind, cheerful and greeted you. Due to the room cleanliness of this hotel I will not recommend this hotel and would rather send them to the Embassy Suites Valley Forge where the rest of my family stayed recently and really enjoyed it.

Staff, room and location were perfect. Close to highway and shopping for King of Prussia / Phila areas. Bed was comfy. Parking lot was a bit odd being across from lobby but we got used to it. Just use the side lobby door and main one seems locked for unclear reasons. Thanks!
