We arrived the day before my business meeting because hey, Casino Resort, my husband and I thought we'd enjoy and afternoon and evening before I had to attend my meeting.
The bar was closed. All Day. The "No-Smoking" Casino is tiny and reeks of cigarette smoke. You cannot get coffee anywhere until 7 a.m. when Dunkin' Donuts opens. Valley Tavern Restaurant - closed. Copper Disk for breakfast - closed Monday - Friday They have a printed letter for you at the front desk on things to do (nothing is open midweek) and if you can believe it, they refer to the Italian Market and Asian Noodle as "International options" Italian Market - a mall food court style counter - this does not qualify as a restaurant. Asian Noodle - closed Monday - Friday - also food court style. The guest room appeared clean, the bathrooms need attention as you can see from the pictures. The public bathrooms need far more attention than they get. Front Desk Staff - seemed annoyed for some reason. I will say that all the employees I encountered while looking for the "resort" style locations were friendly however telling us to try the Copper Whisk for breakfast on a Tuesday when it would not open until Saturday was not helpful. If you're attending an event here, there is a Marriott about 1.5 miles away and I believe also a Hilton option. Choose one of those - this was one of the saddest hotels I've ever had to stay at for business.
