Everything has been set up around the blowhole to make it the main tourist attraction for Kiama. During the day on low tide nothing happens. We went back later in the in the afternoon when the tide began to be more choppy and got our photos. A bit of patience and a finger on the camera shutter is required for the best capture.
Nice safe fences to keep the kids safe from running onto the rocks. Great experience for everyone in our family
Went here on Easter Sunday after seeing the markets close by, fantastic scenery all over Kiama & great to see the Blow Hole, If you go here also drive through Jamberoo scenery is Beautiful.
drove of the main highway to see this famous attraction .............hard to park with a few coaches lots of cars walked to fence could hear the waves crashing below under the rocks kots of noise but no water spout .a local fusherman said it hardly works anymore which was dissaponting bit of a walk from the main street it was school holidays and many people were fishing from the rocks.
No spectacular display today as the wind direction wasn't right but it's still a spectacular view of the coastline and worth a visit.
If you tend to feel the cold easily bring a windbreaker!
