Our new fav resort

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 5 Dec 2023via mobile
Wow!! Elements of Byron far exceeded our expectations. A huge resort with stunning surrounds, spacious comfy rooms, fabulous pools, attentive staff and divine food. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Elements and had the most incredible 4 nights stay, we wish we could’ve stayed way longer. It’s nice that it’s just out of town as it’s more serene but still close enough by car, Uber or the solar train ride in. Plenty of pool loungers and all with umbrellas, free cabanas and lots of space. The adults only pool has a really chilled vibe, we loved it. We dined at Azure Bar and Grill restaurant for dinner and it was incredible food, we shared the lamb shoulder, it was huge! Pizza and cocktails by the fire pit was a hit. So impressed we can’t wait to come back.
Date of stay: November 2023
Room Tip: Any area of the resort is fine, it doesn’t have to be on the lagoon. There is one EV charging...

This resort is outstanding. A beautiful resort that most people will enjoy - lovely grounds and facilities. The Osprey spa is a must. The greatest asset that this resort has is the disabled facilities. We stayed in a disabled villa which had its own parking bay and was fully ramped and railed to the room. Wide spaces, rails in all the right places, even a wardrobe rail that comes down to chair height. Well appointed kitchenette, mini bar, coffee machine and toaster. There is a ramp, wheelchair lift and steps down to the fire pit. Huge ramps and rails into the main pool and also into another pool. Disabled toilets are everywhere. This is the most accessible resort that we have seen and it certainly has been well designed for guests with disability / mobility issues.

We had a three night getaway to the resort with our 10 month old baby and it was outstanding - it was difficult to leave! We were told the resort was pretty much full but you wouldnt't have known with a very relaxed vibe throughout. The main pool was excellent with beautiful cabana's and chairs - and no issues with getting towels or a space to relax for the day. With our baby we didn't make it to the adults only pool so can't comment on that. The dining options were ok, and was the area we thought the resort could make some improvements too - in particular the in room dining options and increasing gluten free options. We went to the day spa and had fantastic massages, would highly recommend if you are staying at the resort, but book ahead! The villa accommodation was perfect. We loved the ability to park our car at the villa, which saved a lot of time when we went venturing into Byron Bay. The room had everything and more you need for a holiday. Not super high end, but luxurious and fit in with the natural environment. Another tip is to make use of the beachside caravan bar if it is open when you are there. Was a nice way to end the day for us. Highly recommended for a family, couples, or just if you need to take a break to recharge. With the standard of resorts in Australia generally pretty average compared to many other places in the world, this is a world class resort and we will be back!

Excellent place to visit and stay. Visited as part of a large conference group. Staff were excellent and friendly. Villas are spread out over a large area and completely private from each other.
Adult only pool ideal for a chill out if you want some quiet time
I’m often sceptical of having to utilise resort buggies for transportation around the site as you often have to wait ages….. not here!… buggies arrived within minutes every time !

Stayed for 3 nights in October in room
73 the cabin looking at the lake.

Accomodation is fantastic the rooms are huge with large bedroom space, separate bath/shower and then down small step to sunken living area and kitchenette. The only negative for the room if you have a newborn like us is you can’t cut the room off if you wanted to watch tv for example, as it’s one open space.

Housekeepers are great and anything you need comes quick smart.

We only used the main pool which is great and well priced food/drink service.

Having also stayed at CrystalBrooke I rate them ver close. CrystalBrook might have more of a vibe in the reception area, pool and the rooms can be closed off. However the stairs aren’t for everyone and Elements probably shades it just for ease of getting around the resort, facilities and staff. If you are trying as a couple though and no kids I’d such CrystalBrook personally.

Room tip: Be mindful of daily traffic into town.
