Clean comfortable!

We stayed here over two nights whilst going to a music festival at Red Devil Park. We stayed in the Flamingo House and we're really pleased with or stay. Reception were very friendly. The rooms are modern and very clean with great air con. The shared kitchen and living areas never had anyone in them and were clean and equiped with all the essentials you could think of. Flamingo is located within walking distant to the main part of Byron (maybe a bike ride would be better on a really hot day). I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Booked in for 2 nights. $421.20........ Through bookings.com......use this site regularly.....always great...BUT. The owners of motel totally misled us and failed to disclose that. A, They do not change towels or empty bins daily
B. The floor carpet was dirty grainy like sand.....booking said room 2. We got room 3 supposedly queen suite....
We returned late second night. No bed made. No towels. No empty bin. Called after hours nice young man apologised. Bought towels. Wanted to make bed but we said it was ok.....he took bin to empty..he also said you will definitely be refunded for inconvenience..........went to office at 8am. Not open til 10. We left two messages on their phone....returned to Brisbane....no answer so we sent email........they finally rang. They said sheets changed once a week. Towels every three dAys. I checked Their paperwork also room details from bookings. Com........no mention that for $210,60 per night. We received no service........the woman Sandra was extremely rude on phone and said this is common practice.....well it is not. We travel a lot.....this is outrageous......she said the young man thought it was our first night.......she is a liar. He knew it was night 2..... She said it is common now and we got a good price and told us she hoped our weekend for our sons wedding was great......no this witch spoiled everything........obviously they open late so they don't have to face anyone.......staff all backpackers and obviously the owners care more about wages and dirty rooms than travellers.......disgusting place to stay...aggarant
And misleading woman on front desk

Stayed here for one night, booked 2 motel rooms and I was expecting to not be overly impressed but thought it would be fine for a night. Couldn't have been more impressed. The rooms were a good size, clean and recently refurbished. Check in staff were really pleasant and helpful. Easy 10 minute walk into the town or you can rent a bicycle. I have found my new favourite place to stay in Byron which is comfortable, clean and affordable. Will definitely be booking here again.

Loved this place to bits. This was our first time staying at a motel and i have to say i came away impressed. This place truly captures the essence of Byron bay. Comfy cosy and relaxed . Its walkable to and from the city centre . But the highlight is the staff Felicity and her team ( all girls btw). They do a wonderful job of keeping you at home. Beautiful clean spacious rooms with showers and hot and cold water. Microwave , iron, kettle a sit out area on well manicured lawns. You can start your lighthouse Walk from here ( DO NOT MISS IT). Wish we could have stayed longer. Keep it up !

We were booked in the Flamingo house in a lovely room, however we were then bumped down to a motel room in the flamingo motel section due to a mysterious carpet issue?
Motel room was okay, big and had a pretty comfortable bed. Hasn't been renovated in a while by the looks of it. Good motel room, but much would have rathered stay in the newly renovated Flamingo house as per our original plans.
Friendly staff though.

Also known as Flamingos, we stayed here last week as a couple and were very impressed. For a great price, we had a very comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Bed was super comfy and while this is an older style motel it has been revamped very stylishly to bring it up to a very modern and swish style with great soft furnishings. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I notice they had funky bikes available and whilst it would be an easy ride into the town centre, we opted to drive in for dinner at night. (Can highly recommend the pizza at Legends) Will stay here again when passing through!
