Stayed here last night and as always the premier inn standard has been upheld! Clean, comfortable and quiet. The room was massive and on this occasion we had a Seaview which is nice. The staff were lovely and the location is great 10-15 mins from Eden project a few minutes from St Austell town centre. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Always a free parking space even when the pub/restaurant is full.
It avoids the traffic trap of St Austell.
Some rooms have great views of the distant sea.
Staff always friendly.
No aircon but fans provided.
Lots of stairs and no lifts so specify ground floor if that's an issue.
Beware the basins! Turn the tap on too hard and a tidal wave swoops out the basin down your front!

Excellent location for visiting the Eden Project - £10 in a taxi each way.
Clean room with very comfy bed and pillows. Wouldn’t say the shower packed a punch, but it worked ok all the same. Free WiFi and kettle with coffee/tea and milk etc. Not stayed in a PI before - do any of them have a fridge? It would have been nice as I like to have cold drinks. But there is a vending machine in the lobby with chocolate, crisps and cold drinks.
Good value for money.

We stay at this hotel twice a year and find it one of the nicest ones out there.
There is an ample car park and we had one of the new rooms which was very modern and clean, if a little dark and small for a week long stay. Also seemed odd that only one side of the bed had a bedside table - maybe this could be changed? Room 30.
We don’t eat at the attached restaurant so can’t comment on that but the location of this hotel is ideal for exploring the rest of Cornwall. There is an ASDA and Tesco supermarket nearby.
Staff all very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Naomi on reception is always positive and chatty and makes you feel very welcome.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cornwall.
