Stayed in a static caravan and very pleased with comfort, space and cleanliness. The whole site was maintained well and it was quiet too. Lovely quiet site set in pleasant surroundings. Caravan was clean and comfortable. The area is ideal for touring and there are footpaths and cycle routes that you can use to get to nearest beach only a mile away. It's also on bus route to coast.

We like Sun Valley holiday park although some areas of the interior of the caravans are rather tired & in need of updating.
£60 to take your dog with you on holiday is very expensive, i have never had to pay this much on any other holiday.
The food in the Cedars restaurant is good.

Room Tip: This is not a hotel it is a caravan park.

we stayed at this park early September 2016, the park was well kept, and nice to walk around with lots of rabbits to see, for the money the van was clean, But the mattress was not good at all, you could actually feel every spring in it, and the bedding was very cold and almost damp to the touch ( we complained) they changed the bed but still very cold, even when you left the small radiator on in the bedroom, the beach was over a mile away not good, the club was expensive, a pint and a medium wine £7.50 directions were totally off, if you want to go there, head for St Austell, from the A30, GET TO MACDONALDS and turn left Pentewan road, about 3 good miles on the right. and just to top it all off, you cant check in until 4pm, half your day gone and you have not even stepped in your van, and you have paid for that whole day, only to get half, and you must check out at 10 am, and you are asked to clean the van, and left as you found it, I really felt like trashing the dam place, we will never go there again, this is a true account of our experience Brian and maggs.£200 for four days. a joke.

Room Tip: you need a car to get about, choose a modern caravan with central heating

Hi and thanks for your review.

I'm not to sure what to say, the beach is where it has always been , our bedding is always fresh but we do not provide electric blankets ,as far as bar prices are concerned I would suggest our prices are lower than a number other Pubs and restaurants as we aim to provide good value to all our guests.
The comments you make regarding check in time are, to be frank, unacceptable as all holiday parks / Hotels/ bed and breakfasts need time to clean and check accommodation ensuring all maintenance issues etc. are completed.

the fact you are complaining about facilities on a 5* Park that you only paid £200.00 for a stay via a 3rd party booking agency and threatened to 'trash place@ lead me to believe you should look return to Sun Valley but look at stay in a different type of resort that caters for your needs of cheap and cheerful.

Thanks again.

Chris.

We stayed here for a few nights mid week and had a wonderful time. All of the pitches are pretty level. The indoor pool was clean, as were the shower and toilet facilities. The location is good and we had a lovely day out at near by Fowey which has a good range of eateries. We went to the quiz night, which is held in the on site bar/restaurant, on the Wednesday evening. It was great fun and the host did a great job. It's a great place for families and we would recommend staying.

We stayed in a platinum plus caravan. Lovely family site with good facilities for both tourers and those staying in holiday homes. Only negatives we were too close to clubhouse noisy on closing and poor lighting on site at night. Great location for exploring the local area and travelling further around Cornwall. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
