Just returned from a two night stay at the hotel. The hotel rooms and breakfast were all excellent. The staff were very friendly. The downside is the very limited and repetitive evening menu. Basically the menu is exactly the same every evening and only four options to choose from mainly beef or fish if you don’t like either of these you would be eating the same every evening not what you would expect from such a good hotel such a shame as the restaurant has the perfect setting with lovely views. We cancelled our reservation for the second evening and had a superb meal in a restaurant just five minutes away. Would only stay at this hotel again if the menu was to change.

What a lovely welcome when we arrived here & though we were staying : nights & meant to have 3 room changes we only had one change & it was the directly next room to us AND it was ready after our morning breakfast! The room on the 1st night was beautiful... lovely crisp plush bed linen & fluffy towels & beautiful colour scheme of neon green & a lovely picture of sea & sand ! A most peaceful night followed by an excellent breakfast out on the patio & though we requested to eat outdoors there was no problem at all in accommodating that for us! The view was just wonderful. I did feel that half a slice of black pudding was not a plus point please note that chef. All the same the full Cornish was lovely ! It was soo easy to move rooms & surprisingly it was ready for us to move into after we finished our breakfast so that was excellent so well done the chambermaids! I felt a shower mat would have been a good thing to have had ? Coffee & tea was excellent but there was no fridge . The decor of the new room was beautiful too in a royal blue & white colour scheme .There was a telephone in the room & there was a night watchman on duty too. The outdoor pool was heated & secluded & closes st 8 pm . I recommend an outdoor clock at this part & though I didn’t mention it an outdoor shower should be on site there for hygiene & after use? The lounge & seated areas inside are plentiful with views over the bay with newspapers & magazines at your leisure ! The parking is excellent at the top car park near to the rear entrance easy access for the bedroom. We had to drag ourselves away from this beautiful hotel ... a must for everyone to experience . Thankyou to you all !

A very civilised and comfy welcome in the living room with papers to read and great art to look at while sipping your pre dinner drink and ordering. Quiet and calm restaurant, table for two by the window, delicious food arrived without delay, superb and unusual white wine from Hawkes Bay, very helpful with my dairy intolerance. A good experience all round and for us good value when so much else does not achieve this simple level of quiet efficient and friendly service.

We celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary at the St Enodoc hotel. They were friendly and helpful from the first;and the room was lovely. But the night of our anniversary the staff made it extra special although we'd only mentioned it in passing. There were complimentary drinks, canapes and sweets with coffee. Everyone wished us a Happy Anniversary too. We were treated like royalty. Thanks so much for making it a really special occasion.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here this week. Comfortable, well styled & well equipped rooms with good view across to the sea. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast.
Enjoyed one evening meal here, which was good.
Mix of people staying from families with small children to more mature couples like ourselves.
