Comfortable, spacious holiday home with plenty of room for a family of four, and could easily accommodate a few more. Has a nice homely feel, including prints on the walls, and books to read. It's not luxurious, but then it isn't in the luxury price bracket, and it's prefect for exploring this part of Cornwall. A short walk takes you to the cliffs (via an ex-RAF aerodrome) and the South West Coast Path. Beaches are a drive away, particularly Perranporth and Chapel Porth.
The park's regulation yellow duvet covers may not be to everyone's taste, but the park itself has a range of facilities, including a swimming pool, bar, crazy golf, tennis, etc. Certainly enough to keep the kids entertained when the weather wasn't good enough to go far.
We booked for our second time at Perran view and loved it (even if the weather was pants!!!) the site has everything you need and the staff are so helpful and friendly and they even remembered us from last year. They couldn't be more helpful with anything you asked and nothing seemed too much trouble. They make you feel right at home. Also fab as the accept dogs too. We couldn't leave our westie at home. It's a family holiday and he's part of the family. ☺️
The pool was fab as was the clubhouse as it only has a small arcade so the children don't waste all their pocket money in there. The food from chefs corner was beautiful and very well priced. Serve was quick and polite too. The entertainment that was on every evening (including outside Cabaret acts) were fabulous and the stripeys were fantastic with the kids. My children fell in love with Emma she really made them love the clubhouse after their pocket money for that evening had been spent and my eldest (10 year old girl) got up and out of the house for the Foxy Club every morning it's on.
The house was fab again (we actually managed to get the same house we had last year, as we asked when we booked) everything you need and more. A real home from home and so much space. And as it had panel heaters it was lovely and cosey when we got in after a cold and windy day.
We have already decided to squeeze in another break for half term in October and another holiday next year and we are counting down the days all ready.
I would recommend this site in a heart beat. It's perfect as it's sort of in the middle for everything. Great base camp for exploring Cornwall.

Perran view is in a great location near St Agnes and Perranporth with great beaches nearby at Chapel Porth and Porthtowan and the coastal path nearby. The site it's self is hidden down a lane on top of a hill so transport is needed. The site is mostly car free so is safe for little ones to play out.
The house is clean and functional with a fully equipped kitchen, tv and fireplace in the living room. Cleaning and linen are provided by the site. There is an on site laundry, shop and maintenance people if there's any problems. There's a club house and bar, tennis courts and small swimming pool on site.
Good value rental to use as a base for exploring the area.
