Just spent 5 nights here on a mineral collecting trip to the area.
The rooms are very clean, tidy and very well maintained, with queen sized beds in the single rooms. The owners are very accommodating, with nothing being to much trouble.
Breakfast is very good and you seem to get unlimited toast, tea or coffee. Their pub has a very friendly clientele and a very good mix of locals and visitors to the area. And serves a very good selection of ales, lagers, wines and spirits.
The only down side is they don't serve evening meals, there is a restaurant a short walk up the road, which serves excellent food, at restaurant prices, but other than that you have to drive out to eat.
I would definitely return and use again, and will be in the near future

Stayed for 4 nights in March, perfect location for travelling around in Cornwall. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Wonderful hosts and great wines and ales to boot.

If you're looking for a friendly B & B in the area pick this one, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed here twice now. Steph and Ollie are the perfect hosts and you feel very much appreciated as a paying guest. Rooms perfectly clean and tidy, shower water pressure a little shakey but other than that the place is faultless. No evening meals but there is a nice restaurant a short walk up the road. Breakfast excellent.
Very nice one night stay.

Stayed one night. Nothing special about this b&b over a pub. Didnt sample pub so cant comment. Single room on the small side and a little dated. However clean and tidy and perfectly comfortable and adequate for a night stay. Room a little cool but it was a cold night. Ollie very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was served quickly. No evening meals here but a restaurant within walking distance. Other than that its a car journey. Not bad.
