Patrick and Julie the perfect hosts serve excellent food and nothing to much trouble. The house is full of Character with lovely rooms and furniture. It was the home of former local mill owner Mr Blany who owned the mill at Combe Junction a very historic Building with extensive grounds

Pencubitt House was once the large and luxurious home of a 19th century business magnate, but is now a comfortable and stylish B&B presided over by Patrick and Julie, who are attentive and courteous hosts concerned to make their guests stay enjoyable and relaxing. The well stocked in-house bar makes a pleasant alternative of an evening to the rather disappointing local pubs.

Superb! We had a very enjoyable 4 day stay in this lovely comfortable Hotel which is full of character and has been expertly restored to a very high standard. Julie and Patrick are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they genuinely wanted to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The meals were really good, very tasty locally sourced produce expertly prepared by Patrick.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful Hotel.

What can I say, perfect place to relax and unwind, excellent breakfast using local produce, nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing room and fantastic bathroom, large soft fluffy towels - in heaven! Lounge is very comfortable with small bar. Will go back. Julie and Pat very welcoming.

Room Tip: All rooms good but room 9 excellent - be prepared to walk 2 flights stairs - it's an old house so no lift.

We spent two nights at this comfortable hotel. Julie and Patrick made us welcome, and their attention to detail was much appreciated. The food was first rate, and the general atmosphere very pleasant. We would certainly recommend the hotel to others.
