We just needed a quick meal on a Saturday night before going to a friends party and this was the perfect location on pretty Church street, just a short walk from the lovely riverside in Twickenham so we were very glad to have been squeezed into what was a very busy restaurant on the weekend without a reservation!

Ambience: buzzing, busy, frenetic, fairly Mediterranean really! Clearly a popular local choice...some previous reviewers moaned about sitting upstairs but I actually thought it was quieter and a bit more spacious up there.

Service: was a bit slow but they were busy, maybe needed to be a touch more attentive, especially for the upstairs room, but was always super friendly...manager was doing lots of the running around, she needed extra waiting staff so she could have managed people waiting to come in, and general customer care better

Food: bread nice, Jamon croquetas bit disappointing and mushy, chicken skewers yummy albeit sauce was very garlicky, lamb tagine amazingly tasty, roast cod melt in the mouth and a delight, nice with lentils but they were far too salty, patatas braves superb, as was spicy sauce to go with them.

Overall, great food, bustling atmosphere, nice decor and ambience, would highly recommend as very good all rounder!

First time here and the food was very good. The calamari and aioli were excellent as were the croquetas. Delicious lamb meatballs and king prawns. The bread was excellent. Look forward to trying the wraps as some point

Food is alright. Staff are ok. Prices are high. Portions are small. Atmosphere is dull. Personally think there’s MUCH better places around town. Would return if necessary but definitely would recommend or entice people towards.

Two friends and I arrived for our booking at 8:30pm last Friday evening, as we entered we were told by one waiter to wait to be seated despite there being a few tables free, after standing at the door and being ignored for 5 minutes we asked another waiter if we could be taken to our table. We were taken upstairs to a very cold and brightly lit room. Disappointed with this, we asked to move and were seated downstairs in a more preferable atmosphere. Unfortunately, it then took 45 minutes to have our drinks order taken, we requested to order our food at the same time as we were now starving only to be told approximately five dishes were not available as they had run out. Our food then arrived within 10 minutes which was questionable as we had ordered chicken and fish from the menu but were starving so began eating. We soon found that our chicken dish was under cooked, as we alerted staff we did not get an apology; it was then replaced 20-30 minutes later when we had finished all our other food. We did enjoy the rest of the meal but it did not seem top quality or fresh. When asked why we hadn't eaten our chicken the waiter apologised but we did not feel we should pay for this dish or the service charge. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning.

Attended without reservation on a Tuesday night. Lovely food and good service. Selection of as one would expect - the lamb and Iberica pork were particularly good and the octopus was a very generous plate of wide strips. Good location with parking nearby.
