We found this place on the internet after fleeing a bad motel further north off the freeway, and it was a relief! This is actually a conference center for insurance industry people, but there were no conferences going on while we were there. As a result, the place was veeeeery quiet and almost a little eerie, but it was fine...a large, very modern place, virtually deserted. There is a large parking lot out front, but no help to get the bags out of the car and into the building, tho they will let you use the bellman's cart! The room was nicely done, double beds, modern bath, plenty of closest and drawer space, a big TV. I don't remember if there was a minifridge. A smallish window looks out onto a lawn and trees. The room itself is a little cramped without much floor space, which probably works well for a conference center where people don't spend much time in the rooms, but we noticed the tight quarters. Air conditioning worked well. There is a laundry room upstairs in the building with one washer and one dryer. If there was room service or a restaurant, we didn't find it, but that's okay, because a short drive away is Bryn Mawr and a full selection of eating places. There was a bit of noise from the hallway -- you could hear the maids' radio playing as they worked down the hall in another room -- seemed odd, considering how quiet the rest of the place was. These are quibbles, however. We would definitely stay there again -- it's quiet, clean, modern, close to Bryn Mawr and Haverford, about 20-30 minutes from Swarthmore.
