My husband and I stayed here for three weeks in July of 22. It was the perfect location for what we needed to do. Everyone who worked at the hotel was so lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Having a laundry room, gym, and pool made our three weeks so much better.
Decent hotel. large room, refrigerator, kitchen. adequately clean. Breakfast was typical: cereal, yogurt, eggs, waffles, fruits..... not very delicious, but that was expected. Staff was polite. Pool was not open yet.
We stayed in the loft suite, which had 3 queen beds (2 in the lower room, 1 upstairs) and two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. The room was clean, but a little dated, the lower room was hot with the heat on, but we pushed the vent closed which made it much better. The door didn't seal very good so you could hear traffic noise from the nearby road, and it was generally quiet otherwise.
Breakfast had a good selection of breads, hot items, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. They offered a slightly different selection each day of hot items so you don't get bored with the same choices every day. Gloves were provided to serve food per local food regulations, and the breakfast area was clean and enough seating daily.
Parking was sometimes close, sometimes further away, only one row across the front of the property.

My family and I went to this hotel for the weekend, reserved a room and did an early check-in. My keys were not ready but boy was the hotel clerk was ready. This hotel Karen commenced to interrogating my husband and i about why we were in the area, what were our plans and was it work related. We eventually catch on that she wants to change the rate of our room from Military/Government Rate to a regular rated room. This is the first time that I have felt that i was being shook down for more money after a reservation and payment had already been finalized. This hotel does not allow for upgraded rooms at least this Karen wasn't having it. This is the final visit to this place over the last few years of visiting Berwyn, we chose this hotel, this most recent visit is our last. The increased rate wasn't that much more but the demand to know why we were in the area was inappropriate, because it wasn't a friendly tone, it was a "gotcha" type approach. They are truly below the Marriott standard. Do not stay here!!!!!

The hotel staff was very nice, and at first the room seemed clean. We soon noticed a few things - there was a random, crumpled up, dirty paper under the bed; a coffee mug ring on the counter; a lettuce leaf behind the couch; the bed sheets did have a stain - at that point, just toss the sheets. Why put them out for guests? It was a good price and location for the wedding we attended but will think twice for staying with Marriott next time. Once again, the staff was great and accommodated our request for first floor room. We did not have extra toilet paper rolls in our room either.
