The Residence Inn Valley Forge is approximately 10 min drive from the King of Prussia Mall, 5-10 Min drive from Valley Forge National Park, and about 40 minutes drive from Center City (can be at least an hour during rush hours).
I stayed in a two bedroom suite on the second floor with two queen beds downstairs with ensuite bathroom, and one queen bed upstairs in a loft with another ensuite bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining area and desk/work area, 3 flatscreen TVs, free buffet breakfast and daily maid service, and a complimentary cocktail hour with hors d’oevres every Monday and Tuesday. Wednesdays alternated between cocktails and dessert, depending on the week. There’s a swimming pool (outdoors), laundry facilities (coin-op) and a small fitness and business center.
The staff was really wonderful — beginning from the GM, Bernice Coffey, who was friendly and caring - always greeting her guests and helping out at breakfast even. The breakfast staff, especially Phillip, was warm and friendly. Halley and Bernadette at the front desk were always helpful, and Norma and Joselia, taking care of rooms always offered to help with a smile.
Uber and Lyft was convenient and easy to access — but if you have a car, that’s even better. There’s plenty of free parking. A number of business people from Vanguard and the nearby business parks stay here, and they really like living here.
It is an excellent place to stay when you have a family or larger group, where you need more room and the conveniences of home. Excellent for events such as the Devon Horse Show or weddings in Valley Forge. It’s a considerably longer drive to Center City. Really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend friends and family to stay as well, especially when you need a place for long-term.
