I had the prime rib dinner excellent came with choice potato I had baked with butter and sour cream a vegetable and Soup or salad. This prime rib would rival any steakhouse. Social distancing, masks and all the cleanliness precautions needed are taken. It was served on a sizzling platter with plenty of au jus and horseradish! The only thing better than the food was the service. I topped the meal off with coconut cream pie yummmm!!

The North Powder Cafe is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is always good, fresh and served with a smile. My husband and I both like the steak sandwich. The biggest problem is saving room for pie! We often take a slice of pie to go. The pies are fabulous! My absolute favorite is the rhubarb pie. It brings back memories of the pies my Grandma used to make.

Stopped in for breakfast while on a motorcycle trip through the area. This is no tourest trap but a good honest place to get a meal. I had the half pound chicken fried steak breakfast and my friend had the ham steak. Everything we ordered treated great and there was plenty of food. The staff was very friendly and took good care of is. I will be looking for an excuse to go back that way again just to eat there.

Almost didn’t stop with the construction, but glad we did! The ham was absolutely some of the best we’ve had! Tender and flavorful. The sausage platter was hardy with thick tasty gravy. Definitely will stop here again if we get a chance.

My husband and I just had lunch there and it was great. I had the French dip and sweet potatoes fries, my husband had the chicken sandwich and home fries. Both were delicious. The sweet potato fries were really good, the buns the sandwiches were served on were excellent. The roast beef was tender and delicious and my husband said his chicken was really good. “Best crispy chicken sandwich” he’s had!
