I'll start with the pros because that will go quickly. For a 12 person house, there was adequate seating for lounging and dining. The view was phenomenal, an unobstructed 180 degree view of the ocean. A convenient stereo was provided to connect to bluetooth devices or an auxiliary jack. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed and sights and sounds of the ocean.
Cons: The second upstairs queen bedroom had no window covering, even though it was east facing on highway 101. It was noisy, polluted with street lights, and had an uncomfortable bed where little sleep was had. The third bedroom, meant to sleep 7, could only sleep 5 because the bottom full bunk mattress gave full access to the steel bars supporting it. Two of our 12 person group were allocated to the sofas in the living room where socializing would typically occur. Speaking of 12 people, the house provides almost 12 bath towels, 3 washcloths, and 4 hand towels. Thank goodness there is access to a washer and dryer because we needed to do laundry 3 times in a day and a half.
There was only one remote for the two TV's in the house, so climbing stairs to transport it back and forth is one activity to occupy your time in this house. The beautiful view from the living room was dampened by salt spray on the windows, which is understandable given the weather. The house claims to provide a hose to spray your own windows each day, however the hose was located at the front of the house, the windows were in the back of the house, and there was no way to make that happen, even if you wanted to clean your own windows on vacation. Pro tip: we went with Windex and a paper towel.
Using the kitchen can feel comical at times. Accessing the dishwasher requires opening the fridge door. All the way. If you'd like to bake something on a cookie sheet, pack your own in. There are none to be found.
Lastly, outside. The ad does not claim that the house has direct beach access. The photos imply otherwise. Getting to the beach is not difficult, but it is a few blocks walk south down a busy street and through a motel property that is not a walk children could take unsupervised. This should be explicitly stated in the ad. Be careful on the front porch. The railing is about to come off and it's a good one-story fall. Onto asphalt.
Overall, the house was clean and pleasant to spend time in with a large group. It could use some deep cleaning of screens and windows. Bring your own drapes.
