I booked this vacation rental back in February or March of 2015 for a stay in August 2015. Communication to the property owner was ignored until I texted her closer to our trip. I thought everything would be ok. The day before we are set to arrive the owner tells me she has double booked the location and can we reschedule and she would refund our money. Due to work schedules this was impossible. She rescheduled the other booking. We get to the location and we were so pleased with the location of the cabin. The issue we had the cabin was dirty, cobwebs and flies stuck to them on the ceilings and all over the windows. The Internet was not functional but the owner said if we could boat a repair person to the house it could be fixed the day before our departure, which we chose not to do. We cleaned the joint before we could feel completely comfortable on day 1 of our stay. After that our stay was enjoyable and uninterrupted by owner. Left the place in way better shape than we received it in. After a few text messages with the owner about our refundable deposit. I am still waiting and will probably never see it. It's such a shame too, the location has so much potential! I have to say though steer clear and look at a different rental.
