We stopped at the Vista House to look at the awesome view of the river below. The state could use the building better as a snack area or gift shop.
Best view in all of Oregon. The actual the house was closed for the winter and it was big wind chill factor of less than zero when I was there. But it was still beautiful
A very neat stop to start your trip on the Historic Columbia River Highway! The views are breathtaking and the house itself is really interesting to see. It was closed the day we drove by, but the views alone make the stop totally worth it to take some pictures!
Spectacular view of the Columbia River Gorge. It was a clear early evening and we could see for miles.
The house wasn't open but we were still able to park near it and walk around to see up and down the river.
Terrific views of the Columbia River Gorge await you at this stop off on most tours. The house was not open when we were there but the views made up for it.
