Good for lunch, breakfast, or sweets. Great selection of desserts. Supper favor on all the sandwich selections. We go here about once every two months. It is a little higher priced...for example...lunch with drinks for three people is about $40 Friendly service, will take a little time. Be sure to visit their theme restroom.

Fantastic! Very reasonably priced. Open for lunch as well. Cute atmosphere. Right off the Hwy for easy access.

Lunch during the week, small place but lots of parking, we had a short wait, friendly help and lots of locals. They sell their homemade soups and desserts and also breakfast casseroles, several people in to buy for the labor day weekend, but I thought prices were quite high.
Yes it's home cooked, and yes it's good but my tomato vegetable soup wasn't as good as Progresso's with a bit of cream added. In fact it was a bit watery. I opted to add the cup of soup ( which came in a tea cup) instead of the chips that came with the sandwich. For another $2.50. The reuben ( daily special) was good, lots of dressing so it was very messy to eat, enough meat but the bread, although very tasty swirl rye was too thick. Hubby had the walnut chicken salad, it was very pretty with the chicken in the middle, and each topping ( nuts, shredded carrots, feta cheese, sliced green apples, etc, arranged around the chicken but a bit hard to eat - plate too small to mix so he ate the chicken first then picked at the rest. Not sure how to eat.
Desserts were lovely but too much - would be a great stop just for coffee and a piece of the 'death by chocolate" ( $11) but about 12" tall!
Nothing fried on menu so healthy but not our style of food. Glad we tried but won;t be back. With tip about $32.

Breakfast at Chickanellas is wonderful. They use fresh ingredients in their omelettes and if you want perfectly prepared fluffy pancakes, you will want that as part of your order as well.
