Seated fairly quickly. Server was perfunctory at best, but surly by the time we finished our dinner.
Ordered Modelo on tap; they were out (on a Sat evening?). Settled for bottled beer. Our beverage order arrived. No napkins nor chips and salsa. Our server returned and we ordered an appetizer and our meals. We asked about chips and salsa and then were told those are automatic.
Our appetizers and meals came out right after our chips and salsa. We had to ask for silverware.
No one came to refill our water or ask how our meal was going. We asked for to go boxes, paid, and left.
The food was okay, nothing special. Portions were on the skimpy side for rice and beans. The premises seemed like it could use a deep clean and some freshening. More than a bit off putting.
The hostess was very attentive and friendly.

We tried this restaurant for lunch. We were seaged promptly. As with any Mexican restaurant, chips and salsa were provided. The chips and salsa were very good. From this point, the service was extremely slow. Drinks came, we ordered. I had 3 tacos. The flavor was okay, but the meat was so watery it made my taco shells turn to mush. My wife had shrimp fajitas, and my son had enchiladas. They both liked the food. The prices are reasonable, our billI was $32.76. They have 2 locations, we may stop at the other one.

Visiting Marion for the first time and chose this restaurant based on other reviews. So glad we went there. We’ve not been to our favorite Mexican restaurant at home in 18 months. This would be our new favorite if we lived here. We were greeted right away with a smile, shown to our table and chips and salsa were there immediately. Food was excellent. I had Tequila Lime Shrimp which was yummy. Husband had tacos which looked good and not as greasy as other places. We would be back if we didn’t live 3 hours away.

We visited their location on Marion-Mt. Gilead Road last week and were impressed with both the quality and portions. I had the enchiladas. I was served 5 enchiladas filled with refried beans, beef, chicken, cheese and groundbeef. My wife had the Special which had a chile relleno, burrito, chalupo, enchilada and taco. Way too much for her to eat in one sitting.

Good, quick service and tasty food. I went twice to this restaurant and was satisfied both times. Can‘t speak to the quality of the Margaritas but they looked good, too. Cheese enchiladas were great, vegetarian entrees also available.
