We stayed over a Wednesday night and they provided sloppy Joes and mac and cheese in the evening and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.
Date of stay: March 2023
Room Tip: They only provide snacks on Wednesday evenings.

Nice newer hotel for the area. Clean and nice breakfast choices. Occasionally had "happy hour" at night with free drinks and food like burgers and dogs. Convenient location to Marietta for business... down the road is a nice Starbucks that doesn't open until 6am though.

Typical HIE hotel, following their standards for service and cleanliness.

Beautiful fitness Center, pool, parking for a truck or 2. Dude in the morning at checkout was pretty cool. Fridge & micro in every room. Decor is all ultra modern . I believe the property is relatively new.
Unfortunately, NO HOT B/FAST. Still to go bags (oatmeal included though). Nice place. Recommended but not highly. Be blessed & be a blessing to s/one in need.

First, let me say there was absolutely nothing wrong with our room. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable, everything worked just fine, and none of the furniture was chipped or worn. Overall, no problems with the actual room.

That said, there were a few issues. First, and this is pretty important, there is a sign on the front door saying masks must be worn. There are plexi-glass shields at the front desk protecting employees and guests, and the person who checked us in (a very nice lady) was wearing her mask. All this effort and what happens? They let people without masks come in and stand around the lobby and at the front desk. After we got settled into our room, we left to get dinner and two men (probably in their 30s) were standing at the desk without masks. And when we were checking out there was a younger lady in the lobby with her kids, and she wasn’t wearing a mask. So everything they’ve done to protect people…the mask sign, the plexi-glass, hand sanitizer, etc. are all pretty useless if they’re not going to enforce the rules. Look, I know it’s uncomfortable to have to tell people to put on a mask; it’s a terrible position for someone to be in. But just because some people have arrogant entitlement issues doesn’t mean they should be allowed to break the rules and endanger other people. So, even though the room was perfect, this is part of what I’m basing my rating on.

The next issue is more of an issue I have with IHG than this actual hotel. Since I booked the room through Priceline, I apparently won’t be getting my points. In fact, I checked and I haven’t gotten any points for the last three stays at IHG properties (even though they took my club number at check in). So I guess if I want my points I’m going to have to pay a higher rate? So tell me…what’s the incentive to be loyal to the brand? Points should be given based on room nights, not how much I pay. It’s not like the room was free. Besides, working with Priceline was IHG’s idea, not mine. If this is how they’re going to be I’ll have no problem staying at non-IHG properties in the future. Again, this is an issue I have with IHG, not this particular hotel or its employees.

Would I recommend this hotel? As a facility, yes. But if you’re concerned about safety and points, you might look elsewhere. It’s really a shame.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we chose this hotel for an overnight getaway because they have a pool, and the pool was closed. There was a bagged breakfast to go due to Covid. (Fortunately, Biscuit World is right down the street.) The room was quiet, and the black-out curtains were a nice touch.

Other than being a little disappointed about the pool, everything was fine.

My family and I were traveling through the area to visit our family before the holidays and we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Marietta. First of all the staff was super friendly and so accommodating! We were traveling with our 3-year old son (who is a wild child...lol) and the ladies at the desk, I believe their names Christine & Cindy were the best with him and so understanding!! The hotel and our room were so clean. Just know we will be back! Families, do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!
