Came in for a celebrity dinner with family to be told we didn’t book! Although we rang up earlier that day!! When we finally got a table and ordered out meals the waitress was horribly rude and steamed like she didn’t want to serve us! 45 minuets Later on that same waitress bought out our meals and asked if anyone had a salmon and basicly told us that someone did although it was the table beside us and all the meals didn’t come out as one table it came out kinda staggered!!

I am terribly sorry to hear this - it is certainly not how we want our customers treated. We would love to discuss with you further if you are willing to contact us direct on 6425 1197 and ask to speak with Tracey the manager. We would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you. Again, my apologies that your celebration was marred by this experience.

Big place but friendly and lots of cosy corners to share a fine meal with loved ones. Seperate areas to go to if you want to avoid the gaming machines , which we did.
We ordered the seafood basket to share and must say i enjoyed it and the price was very reasonable. Still not the most well presented dish. Good selection of excellent wines.
Attentive staff made us feel very welcome.

Room tip: We ate here but did not stay here so cannot say.

Room was a little tired but they are in the process of doing up the rooms, shower was huge which was nice as normally hotel showers are tiny and hard to move in.i would suggest though that they puts some lights at bottom of stairs as they are hard to see when the lights are off when you are trying to get to you room after dining room lights have been turned off. Another suggestion would be if the staff are going to have a go at each other it’s not done where guests are and can hear everything very unprofessional.
Had a light meal which was lovely.

Room tip: Ask for a room not in Reich street

Thank you for the review - we sincerely appreciate the feedback and will have the lighting situation assessed. Our first lot of renovated rooms will be done this week which is very exciting. We are sure any return customers will really be happy with the upgrade. I can only most sincerely apologise for the staff incident - this should certainly never happen near guests or customers . Again my apologies

Nice place but food could do with a look over. Salad bowl provided was tiny to say the least, I know you can reload it but it really is tiny so things just fall off, kids meal were very bland, dont blame them for not eating it, its a nice place but the meals just need a revamp, maybe spoilt where I usually go

The hotel is in the main street so location is great. My room was good. A little dated but large and had all I needed. Heat pump warmed the room well. There is no lift and so suitcases have to be carried upstairs. Staff offered to help. Electrical items are tested and tagged with next due date in 2012!
Bed was comfy.
I ate in the bistro all 3 nights. Apart from the daily vegetables never varying I enjoyed the meals.

Thank you for reviewing - so please to hear you enjoyed your stay. Will certainly get those tags checked however. We do have these regularly tested and tagged so need to get to the bottom of how this room was missed. Thanks for the feedback - we truly appreciate it.
