A very worthy museum to visit. It is rather large and as the kind volunteer manning the reception, you can leave, have lunch and re-enter the museum to continue.

Well worth a visit.

If you have not been here you must make an effort to do so. What an epic adventure into history. You will need about an hour to explore every section properly. The amount of work that has gone into this place is exceptional.

Labour of love! There is so much to see, and a glimpse into times gone by. There are so many artifacts on display so well worth a visit. The volunteers on the door too were both lovely and super helpful, with some great local tips to boot. Definitely well worth a visit and a great testament to the history of the town.

All donated by local residents, this museum holds a range of artefacts from the towns beginnings through to the present day.
Its a pretty large museum with various rooms with different themed displays such as farming, transportation, technology (phones, computers), kitchenware, clothing, music (early music players through to today). It was quite cool to see the stuff from my youth and reflect on how much has changed, and see some of the amazing things that I wish they still made today!
Don't expect a perfectly curated museum, appreciate the generosity of the volunteers who run it and donated all the goods over the years so that we can view it today.
A great way to spend a few hours!
