“Awesome weekend in a lovely location”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We could not fault the Shepherds Hut. A really unique place to stay with fantastic facilities. We spent a weekend here and wnjoyed using the BBQ and outside area. There are sheep in the adjacent field which we loved. The pictures are entirely accurate and show the hut off really well. Owners Tim and Sue were on hand on Saturday evening for a friendly chat across the garden fence. We will definitely be coming back!

“Exceeded expectations”

Ideally located to where we wanted to be within easy access to Arundel.

We had total seclusion with views over the grounds (watching the sheep) and the south downs in the distance.

The Shepherds Hut was as per the photos and provided adequate facilities for 2 people and a dog for 7 days, it was very warm and cosy - we could have easily stayed longer.

The garden was dog proof although pets are welcome to wander round the grounds without issue.

The accom was extremely clean and fresh smelling and the barn nextdoor had more than expected including further seating aswell as a table top oven and fridge.

We very much enjoyed our "glam camping"week and will definitely book again.

“Lovely Place to Stay”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Elderflower is such a sweet place to stay - I travelled with my 14 year old daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away, in such pleasant surroundings!
It was lovely to have our own patio area and made use of the BBQ provided. Inside the shepherds hut it is cosy, without being too small, and everything is decorated beautifully.
I would definitely recommend it.

Liked best: The hut itself
Liked least: Having to go out to the barn to cook in bad weather, but it wouldn't stop me going again

“Time to Relax”
Reviewed 1 November 2013 for a stay in July 2013

I stayed here with my husband for my fortieth Birthday weekend in July. The purpose was to visit Brighton , I am so glad we didn't book Brighton and chose the Elderflower instead as it was the perfect tonic after a busy time in Brighton.
Clean cosy and private and all brand new.
The owners were friendly and recommended a visit to Bosham which was a beautiful harbour village, as was Arundel.
I would return here and spend more time exploring the South Downs and not bother with Brighton.
Fabulous
