It is some years since we last ate here.The restaurant and staff are still as pleasant as we remembered and we were surprised to find it half empty having anticipated difficulty in obtaining a table.
We found the bread served with olives,olive oil and balsamic
doughy and the olives rather tired.
The burgers ,served in large buns,were not piping hot and contained rather less fairly bland tasting minced meat than we remembered along with a little salad and a slice of well cooked mmsmoked bacon
Perhaps our memories had painted too rosy a picture but we left with full stomachs but expectations dashed
