“Everything on your doorstep”
Reviewed 10 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I have very recently returned from a week's holiday at Kittiwake and am already planning my next visit!
The place is perfect for a couple or small family and literally has everything you could possibly want for a self-catering holiday by the sea.
The location is perfect, everything is in close proximity: shops, harbour, beach and, of course, Pinnacles chippy!
As well as enjoying several fish and chip dinners, we also made full use of the kitchen, including a roast dinner, and found everything we needed.
I would recommend a stay at Kittiwake to any of my friends and family, and look forward to returning to Seahouses soon!

“A great place to stay”
Reviewed 1 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We spent a week at Kittiwake in Seahouses and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It's very clean and well equipped with everything you'll need, just like your own home.
It's literally a few minutes walk away from the harbour which is very handy for the boat trips, there are shops and restaurants just around the corner and a pub at the bottom of the street.
We were even given a key to a lock-up garage which was just a few streets away and easy to walk to if you use the shortcut through the alleyway to the left of the police station.
We hope to return to Seahouses one day and Kittiwake will be the first place we'll try to book and we will be recommending it to our friends too.

“Nice house”
Reviewed 22 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We went four nights for easter break, and for a family of four, it is a very nice little house, well situated, you have the main road 2 min walking, and down the street the beach port, very nice for the kids to play.
You have everything you need in the house for the stay, we really enjoyed our time there. The coast is very nice, enven though cold !

“Comfortable base to explore gorgeous area.”
Reviewed 13 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Kittiwake was a comfortable base for exploring the gorgeous Northumberland coast. Seahouses is ideally cited for trips to the Farne islands, or walks in both directions along the coast (with bus services for the other direction), or longer trips by car to Holy Island, Alnwick or Berwick or inland into the hills. The harbour is five minutes walk away, and you will see lots of birds on the rocks by the golf course at high tide if you take your binoculars out for a stroll. The cottage was comfortable, easy to keep warm (by turning the electric heaters up) and well equipped (hot water bottles were a great touch). The owner responded quickly to a phone call about how to use the washing machine and how to replace the bootrack which I unfortunately sat on. Recommended.

“Cosy cottage base to explore Northumberland coast”
Reviewed 18 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We made a late booking for the Feb half term, and despite a mix up with the housekeeping (which was very swiftly sorted out by the helpful owners and lovely clearning lady) we had a terrific few days. The cottage has everything you need for a short break and the kids loved the woodburner. Seahouses is really convenient and everything is walkable. Recommended and would stay again.
