“Clean, equipped and fantastic location”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed here last week with our two children and dog. The bungalow is exceptionaly clean and tastefully decorated. It really feels like your at home with the extra touch of games books and DVDs. The garden is lovely and is maintained. It is by far the best holiday rental we have stayed in and is brilliant that its dog friendly. The property is a credit to its owner and it is appreciated that milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine was there on arrival. The location is perfect. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting a lovely relaxing home like feel getaway.

“Wonderful holiday”
Reviewed 22 November 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This was our second visit to this wonderful holiday home. If anything the return was better than the first time. Still well equipped and comfortable providing all necessary requirements to enable a relaxing holiday. It is an excellent base to visit the plentiful local attractions.

“relaxing hideaway”
Reviewed 4 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

we have recently (late October) returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday in Beadnell Bay with the grandchildren with plenty to see and do in the area without having to spend all day in a car.
We enjoyed walks along the beach in both directions right along the bay and to Seahouses, With both Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Castle well worth a visit we would have no hesitation in recommending both the accommodation and the area.

“Just like home only closer to the beach!”

Longlands Retreat is a brilliantly located 3 bed bungalow set on a small estate made up of mainly bungalows less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. It has been very tastefully decorated and accessorised and has a fully working kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. There is a single bedroom with bunks, a double, a twin (that will convert to a king) and there is also an additional sofa bed. The twin/king has a door to the back garden and is part of the converted garage. The kitchen/diner has a glass dining table with 4 chairs (&2extra), and a fridge freezer and high table with 2chairs. Outside there is a raised decked area with table and chairs which catches the sun most of the day. The drive can hold 2 cars, there is a DVD player and films, books, PS2 and various games to suit all ages including monopoly and 2 TV''s. Beadnell is a small beach village situated on the coastal route between Berwick on Tweed and Alnwick. There are 2/3 places to eat, a chip shop and a shop, there is a lovely harbour and the beach is both sand and pebble and excellent for dog walking.
We would definitely recommend this property especially as it is dog friendly.

“A quiet, comfortable house in a lovely part of England”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is lots to see and do nearby but also peaceful walks along quiet beaches from the house. Howick Hall Gardens, a boat trip to see nesting puffins on the Farne Islands and a drive to Holy Island were all great experiences. The house was clean, well-equipped and perfect for a group of adults.
