My wife and I had dinner here and were so impressed we booked again for the following evening. A family run restaurant with very friendly and efficient staff. The food was excellent with good quality ingredients and it was nice to have a meal that didn’t come with chips for a change. The rack of lamb was superb (my wife had it twice!) as was the duck breast and the chicken with langoustine. Also the accompanying vegetables were cooked al dente which was just the way we like them. The a la carte menu is not cheap (although good value) but there are also less expensive meals on offer on the standard menu.
The service was very good indeed and we did not have to wait long between courses.
It’s clearly a popular place and booking in advance appears to be essential.
