A lovely place to stay with helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Excellent food at both dinner and breakfast. Wonderful views from our comfortable room which was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in room 2, the room was very clean, comfy beds and great view. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had an evening meal and cooked breakfast, the food was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

I visited the Punch Bowl whilst walking Swaledale with a friend. It was a very hot day, we were very tired, and although any pub would have satisfied us we immediately realised that The Punch Bowl was better than 'any pub'.

The beer was local and very good. The food was delicious, obviously made on-site by a business that cared. We had 2 lunchtime sandwiches. Both served in a fresh baguette type roll and with a fresh and delicious side salad and tasty crisps.

A lovely inn. We decided to stay there after we found it on trip advisor after seeing it had received good reviews. We weren’t disappointed. We stayed in room 6 which was a good size with exceptional views over the Dales and it had a bath which was a bonus! All the staff were very friendly. We had dinner there which was lovely and the cheeseboard had all local cheeses. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. All in all we could not fault this inn/hotel.

We stayed recently for two nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, (though relatively small), and our meals were excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Great service from friendly staff.
