We stayed here for a couple of nights in the last week in August after booking very last minute so we were taking a punt really and we were very glad we did. The location is great just in front of the Aysgarth Falls, there is a pub next door (although they were fully booked for food while we were there so we didn't eat) Hawes and other towns/villages are a short drive. Sadly the weather was not kind to us but had it been we had some great looking walks planned from the doorstep.
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

The real standout though was the breakfast! Don't leave without trying Bruce's granola or Sheila's slow roasted tomatoes! And fresh ground coffee is always a win.

Covid: Sheila and Bruce are clearly taking hygiene very seriously and we felt safe that the place was covid clean.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in August and it was absolutely perfect. The hosts (Shiela and Bruce) were the kindest and most accommodating people, they were more than happy to tell us about the area (nice local villages and walking routes) and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning for us (would highly recommend the Fabulous French Toast!). The bedroom was a good size the ensuite bathroom was pristine, with a wonderful shower. The area is beautiful and very quiet. Amazing views of the dales all around, and only a minutes walk from the Aysgarth Falls which were very picturesque. The pub next door was a great place to have a drink and/or get some good pub food. We would highly recommend staying here, and would come back in a heartbeat.

Picked this bed and breakfast at random as we needed a place to stay on the Herriot Way - and it couldn't have been better.
The room was large with a huge bed, a fabulous view of the hills behind, and a bathroom beyond the standards of any 5 star hotel.
The host, Bruce, was helpful and friendly and cooked us an excellent breakfast.
It was a 5 minute walk into town.
