Stayed for two night for a friends wedding. Cottage was very clean and beautifully presented. Very comfy beds and lost of space to unpack. We even manged to get a parking space outside the cottage for the Friday night. The owner was very helpful and friendly as well.

We stayed at Breakwater Cottage for a weekend in February 2013 - 4 adults and 2 children - and really enjoyed it there.
The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed, and is wonderfully located for Whitstable's beach and shops.
Our boys loved their first experience of bunk beds and the double on the bottom, single on the top format of them meant that an adult could sneak in and share with them if there were any disagreements.
We would recommend this cottage to any group - from friends to families.

I went with my husband and four friends for a long weekend. It was perfect! Gorgeously stylish house, spotlessly clean and a good-sized kitchen so we spent many happy hours cooking seafood fresh from the market and then sharing it around the large dining table with a log fire burning in the background. Great to have three double beds as we were three couples and it's unusual to find a house in this price range with three double beds.
The only slight downside is that because it's a heritage house the bathroom is downstairs which was an inconvenience in the middle of the night but didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Might be more of an issue for families with young children though.
Overall, it was great value for money and I would highly recommend.
PS Rafal didn't get in touch with the access details until the morning of the day we were due to arrive, and I had been getting a little nervous beforehand having not heard from him. Don't be afraid if it's near your check in date and you've not heard anything - he will contact you! Very gracious and helpful host.
