Apart from some problems with the heating the apartment is very nearly perfect; very well equipped and with ample supplies of linen. The location is just about the best you can get in Tonbridge. We would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted by the owner who had thoughtfully provisioned the apartment with all the consumables needed to save us shopping after our long haul flight and
get our stay off to a flying start (milk, coffee, tea, bread, butter, bottle of wine, etc).
The apartment enjoys French windows opening up to a spacious balcony with views of the castle and gardens. It has a well designed and equipped kitchen, a bright living/dining room and two bedrooms with good storage space. There are two bathrooms, one enquire with bath and the other with a shower.
The location is a few steps from the High Street which is just around the corner making shopping very convenient and one can walk to the town centre and railway station within 5 and 15 minutes respectively, Charing Cross being only a 40 minute train ride away if one wants a day trip into the City.
The apartment has a private car parking space and there are many historical castles and stately homes such as Chartwell, Bodiam and Hever Castles that are within 30 minutes leisurely drive away. Of course, Tonbridge Castle is merely a few minutes' walk away.
