We stopped off briefly at this Italian style coffee shop/cafe for a Friday afternoon cup of coffee and a bite to eat. We sat indoors and an enthusiastic waiter took our order. We both had good sized cafe lattes and sandwiches. Mine was a bacon sandwich in thick brown bread - it was generously packed with delicious bacon. My wife had a cheese and ham one with a fork or two of salad. Sufficient to tide us both over until dinner.

Service was super - the attention to detail regarding COVID-19 was also great.

We missed some restrooms - the nearest seemed to be next to the play ground near the village green. Quite a run if you get caught short...

awesome staff, best cake I have ever had, really friendly, outdoor seating, social distance rules and regulations in place and being carried out really well. will be back soon

£4 for a small slice of cake, well sorry, but it just isn't worth it. Love to say the cake was amazing and thus worth the money, but it wasn't. Won't be going here again. Staff member was pleasant enough, though cake arrived way before the tea did. I just think thats over the top money for what looked like bought in cake and a pretty small slice with a very thin filling to boot!

If that is a taster of what else they do, then it would not entice me to have lunch or anything else here.

No matter what you have you can be assured of fresh food ( using local ingredients wherever possible) prepared with love and great attention to flavour. The coffee is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere wonderful and the staff, friendly adding a great flavour of Italy to Sayers Lane., just off Tenterden High Street. What’s not to like - pay a visit and experience it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
