“Lovely quiet cottage in conservation area of Deal”
Reviewed 26 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Cottage is very well appointed and has all home comforts - lovely garden and summer house - although we were a week too early for the April heatwave!
Perfectly positioned to explore Deal, 5 minutes from seafront and restaurants/pubs, and for access to train station to see other parts of Kent, which we did. Broadstairs, Whitstable and Canterbury were all lovely, but we will have to come back some time when the fog has lifted and we can see the end of the pier!
When we do come back we will definitely check out Bay Tree cottage.

“This really is the perfect holiday cottage”
Reviewed 20 March 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We arrived at Bay Tree Cottage late on a Friday night and Camilla from Keepers Cottages had put the heating on and the lights on so it was warm and welcoming. There was a nice welcome pack waiting for us, delicious home made biscuits and lovely local fresh coffee for the morning.
The cottage is spacious and was spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfy.
The parking was really easy as it is free at the end of the road (literally 2 mins away). And you can park in Princes Street overnight too which is really handy.
The town is a minutes walk to the lovely high street. We went to the market on the Saturday morning and then out to breakfast at The Slow Food cafe.
We went to Frog and Scott for dinner on the Saturday night which was delicious.
Camilla allowed us to stay late on the Sunday to make the most of our weekend.
I am already planning my trip back to this gorgeous cottage.
Camilla and her team were super helpful and the booking process was very straightforward and I would definitely recommend Keepers Cottages.
We will be back !

“Such a lovely place to stay you wont want to leave”
Reviewed 9 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

I'd never been to Deal before. The cottage looked appealing from the pictures, and it really is undersold, the main bedroom is huge, the second is a decent size. The accommodation is charming and beautifully furnished. The dogs loved it, and the garden is very safe for dogs as it's walled. The property is conveniently located near the end of the high street and within walking distance of all the town centre, beaches, pier and castles. Parking wasn't an issue as the wardens were on holiday, there are restrictions though. Deal town council have a great policy of letting non permit holders have 2 hours parking in permit areas.

Deal is a charming seaside town, not brash with amusements and lights, but quietly understated, lots of excellent pubs (Ship Inn, Saracens Head and Deal Hoy) serving very decent ales and restaurants (The Lanes and Sea View). We came here for a week and there was enough to keep us interested the whole week. The beach is pebbles, and there is a pier. The castle is worth a visit, nearby Sandwich is another treasure to while away the time with lovely streets oozing history. We didn't get to go to Walmer castle, or Dover castle as they are closed during the week in the winter months. Dover town itself is on the poor end of the scale, but there were some jolly nice people promoting it. St Margarets bay is lovely and would make a great quiet escape in the summer. The Wetherspoons in Ramsgate is probably the best one in the country, whereas The Sir Norman Wisdom in Deal is an average one.

I'd love this as my home.

“Comfortable, nice house with lovely garden and summer house!”
Reviewed 4 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed here a week in August, the house was very well equipped - it even came with fans in both bedrooms - the bathroom was very nice and had enough space!
the dining room and sitting room was cosy, we had everything we needed.
the washing machine/dryer worked very well, we had stunning weather so that got used!
just to mention there is a second toilet off the kitchen downstairs - very practical.
the garden and summer house was loved by all especially the kids - we had 2x a barbecue.
shame the second bedroom is a double bed and not two singles - Camilla did give us a blowup mattress (thank you!)
Parking was nearly never a problem as at the end of the road, 1 minute walk in Ark Lane you can park for free. opposite the house we had parking whenever we needed to load or unload the car. its a quiet road and the neighbours were very friendly.
Deal beach is quiet and clean, free parking towards sandwich!
We hope to return soon!

“Cosy, beautiful cottage in wonderful Deal”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We're a family of four with two older teens and a dog. Our stay was very enjoyable and we felt at home at Bay Tree House. The cottage is just a short walk from the seafront and the beautiful little town of Deal. It's fully equipped with a good kitchen and lovely garden to eat meals in Summer.
We'd definitely go back for another visit if the opportunity arises.
The only thing that could make it even better is if there was a parking permit for the house so you don't need to keep moving your car around outside.
Excellent all round and very good service from Keeper's Cottages.
