Just a great place to stay. The Staff ALL work together for both you and the hotel combined. Such a Happy Place. Makes a contrast to so called 4 star Hotels The "Seaview " is the place to be. See you again soon.

Stable classic. Stayed lots over winter 17/18. Staff helpful. Rooms comfy and warm. Food nice but environment could be more nautical maybe in the restaurant. Love the salon for enjoying a gin and tonic. Great location. Dogs and children welcome which is great.

Three of us stayed for three nights on a package that included a ferry crossing two nights dinner and electric bike hire. Staff are excellent and keen to help. The rooms were good. One was a superior room that cost more. The overall cost around £1150 was reasonable although at that price I would have expected the morning newspaper to have been complimentary but I was unexpectedly charged for it. The electric bikes on hire at £10 a day are a bargain just watch the range however since the batteries need a recharge after 20 miles. The hotel has limited parking for around 9 cars so try to arrive early as street parking in high season is a nightmare. The restaurant has a star rating and many of the evening starters and main courses were innovative. However the pollock fish course was noisome with a bad smell which although not tasting off certainly smelt it. The steaks are charged at a £6 supplement which in our view was unjustified. The chicken and lamb mains were excellent and we would recommend the souffle starter and most of the desserts other than the disaggregated Eton Mess. Breakfast was adequate with the exception of the porridge which we found inedible.

We've just come back from a delicious dinner at the Seaview Hotel. Party of 3 adults and 2 young children very well catered for. Service was quick from placing order. Wide variety on offer including a children's menu. After a long day at the beach we opted for desserts as well which were just as good in terms of quality and freshness as the mains. Great little find.

Stayed here last weekend on one of the busiest weekends in Seaview (125th Anniversary of the Yacht Club). Our room was in the new block at the back. It was spacious and well equipped with ironing board and iron, hairdryer etc. The bathroom was a good size and even had a TV in the bath on the wall. 2 little niggles were that the mattress was not that comfortable although it felt comfortable initially. So I pulled the sheets off and checked. There was a thick mattress topper over an old (and stained) mattress that was not good quality. I see a lot of this now in hotels. For the money we were paying the mattress should have been better quality. In the bathroom some nice products and all ok except the shower was very weak – pressure not good, and no hand held either. Think long time to wash hair. Breakfast was nice, a good buffet plus hot menu and we liked the lounge and the bar too. Sold beer my husband liked so that was good! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Seaview Hotel is perfect location and a nice place to stay. Overall this was perfect for our short stay and I would recommend it.
