“The most comfortable and charming home!”
Reviewed 7 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

On High Street in Blockley is the most lovely rental with modern conveniences, yet retaining the home’s original charm. Perfectly decorated and appointed. Two luxurious king beds and two twin beds. We were welcomed on arrival and felt our privacy respected yet support was a phone call away. Thank you for the memory of a lifetime.

“Perfect Cotswolds Cottage”
Reviewed 27 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Shawn's house is incredible, a perfect mix of character and modern features and could very easily feature on Pinterest! We absolutely loved the fireplace and the very well equipped modern kitchen with the gorgeous views of the garden and beyond. Shawn was also a great host. Whilst we didn't meet in person, we got some great tips from her via email before we arrived on what to do in the area and she even left us some lovely welcome treats in the house. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and all the rooms are a good size. It's also very well located to visit all the lovely villages in North and Central Cotswolds. We definitely hope to be back again some day and thank you Shawn for providing the perfect place to celebrate my dad's 60th!

“The Little Forge is impeccable. A tasteful combination of traditional and chic.”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

The Little Forge has been lovingly restored. Its name belies the feeling of spaciousness in every room yet in the lounge, particularly, the old world charm has been maintained creating a cosy atmosphere. We were welcomed with a generous welcome pack which more resembled a Christmas hamper. Tasteful Christmas decorations had been provided and a log fire was soon going creating a truly festive feel for a family Christmas reunion. Heat sensors in the lower and upper house zones enabled comfortable temperatures in all rooms and there was always sufficient hot water for six people. We found the neighbours and the village community very friendly and our hosts Shawn and Martin were warm, friendly and very helpful. Christmas Eve Carol concert at the local Church was a highlight but we were favoured with stunning, clear, frosty mornings and with so many varied walks from the doorstep over the Northwick Park and Batsford Estates it was easy to work up an appetite for the Christmas fare! A truly memorable holiday with great facilities.

“The best place to stay in the Cotswolds.”
Reviewed 18 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This would have to be one of the best cottages to stay in one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. It also happens to be the venue for the filming of the TV series "Father Brown".
I can highly recommend this property.
