Owner description: If one picture on a postcard could sum up an idyllic English Seaside destination it would have to be Southwold Pier. Decked out across the sea in the picturesque coastal town of Southwold, this pillared walkway has a magnetic attraction and something for everyone to enjoy! There's so much to do a whole day can drift by while you walk the planks and explore this historic icon. Please note: Our opening times are weather permitting and therefore can change.

Enjoyed a super visit here in lovely weather. Although small it is well maintained has a couple of quality eateries and a delightful gift shop with good quality items for sale , not tacky. Well worth a visit.

Had a walk down the pier. It is stuck in a time warp which is quite nice really. There is a cafe and shop and a quirky little museum with coin operated amusements, very old style, but it goes with the territory. Lovely view back across the beach huts

Visited on a Sunday and Thursday in June I am amazed how clean the pier is kept despite so many visitors. The Water Clock is an interesting piece of working art but it's the views of Southwold which will make you smile. Add in a couple of shops and some nice tea rooms with options to eat in or out plus free clean toilets in the car park to the side it's a must visit...
