The River Garden sits across the street from the Ohio river and had a lovely view. It was cool to look outside at night and see the riverboats lit up travelling down the river. I loved the Asian decor, and the dining area was so charming, we decided to get takeout and eat in. We had the place to ourselves and could watch TV as loud as we needed without disturbing anyone. The breakfasts were good, and the hosts were friendly enough and did attend to our needs. We did have one or two problems, however. The DVD player did not work, and the innkeepers did not know this. So we were unable to watch the Redbox DVD we brought. But we had brought our Roku, so we were able to stream Netflix, so we had something to watch. The other issue was that the first thing we had to do when we arrived was to sign a waiver in case we got injured. I found that rather off-putting. But that was fortuitous for the owners, because I actually hurt my toe on the raised step up out of the bathroom. Also, the mattress was a little thin, so the sheets didn't fit tightly and felt a little wrinkled. But all in all, it was a pretty nice place.
